ABOUT DR. ROBISON

Dr. Martin Robison was born and raised in the Willamette Valley. This has created a passion for working within the local community.

​

Dr. Robison attended George Fox University for his undergraduate education earning a bachelors of science in psychology with honors in 2014. There he began working in the field in a post high school life skill building program and shadowing a school counselor at a Native American/American Indian boarding school. 

​

Dr. Robison then entered into George Fox University's Doctorate program for Clinical psychology. There he participated in numerous research projects and clinical rotations these included: working with undergraduate students, leading depression groups, working as a high school based therapist at a Native American/American Indian boarding high school, working in an integrated Indian Health Service system, working as a psychometrician for a forensic psychologist, conducting intake evaluations for inpatient detox/mental health facility, and working as a behavioral health provider in a primary care medical clinic. Dr. Robison graduated in 2019 with his doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University after completing his APA accredited internship with Providence Medical Group.

Dr. Robison completed his residency at Physician Medical Center (PMC) from 2019-2020 working as a Behavioral Health Provider in a primary care medical clinic. He received his unrestricted Oregon License as clinical psychologist in 2020. Dr. Robison continues to work and provide services at PMC.


Given the severe need for traditional therapist in the area he founded West Oak Psychology in 2021 to improve access to psychotherapeutic services.


In his free time Dr. Robison enjoys fishing, camping, sports, and time with family.
