HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?

Each visit typically takes 50-55 minutes. Occasionally formal evaluation visits may be longer.

WHAT KIND OF THERAPY DO YOU UTILIZE?

I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which involves targeting thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also commonly use interventions and therapeutic techniques from theoretical orientations such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy, as well as psychodynamic therapy.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Because of my limited caseload, I do not directly contract with insurance providers. However, I provide a superbill for my patients so they can submit it to their insurance for reimbursement.

HOW MUCH DO VISITS COST?

I charge a $170 flat rate for all my visits including intake, treatment planning, consultation, and follow up sessions.

DO YOU SEE COUPLES OR FAMILIES?

I do not specialize in couple or family therapy. I primarily work with individuals although I am able to consult about family and relationship topics. The focus of individual treatment can also be surrounding couple or family concerns.

HOW OFTEN CAN I BE SEEN?

I see patients on Fridays and for most patients weekly visits are appropriate. This can be changed when less frequent visits are appropriate.

HOW MANY VISITS WILL I NEED?

A typical course of treatment takes about 8 weeks. Depending on progress and benefit to each patient that can be lengthened or shortened to meet needs.

DO YOU SEE PEOPLE IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY?

I have the ability to see patients both in person at my McMinnville office and virtually. The only requirement is that patients who have virtual visits conduct their visit within the state of Oregon.

WHAT ARE YOUR COVID-19 PROTOCOLS?

I continue to monitor federal and state regulations regarding mental health treatment in-person and virtually to be in full compliance. At this time I sanitize my office between visits. Masks are required during visits and I am able to maintain 6' space between individuals. I also ask each patient about COVID symptoms before in-person visits.

WHAT ARE YOUR TREATMENT SPECIALTIES?

I specialize in treatment of anxiety and anxiety related disorders (social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, OCD, agoraphobia, etc). I also have a specific focus on whole person treatment being sure to integrate an individuals biology, psychology, social factors, and spiritual beliefs. I am also qualified to treat a wide range of other disorders and symptoms across the mental health spectrum. I always encourage individuals to reach out and ask about treatment. If I cannot provide the treatment I will make sure you have referral resources to satisfy your needs.
